Minor bug fixes
- Fixed bug when developer functionality was available in shipping build
- Fixed a bug where the lobby password was not decrypted correctly
- Fixed a bug where the highlighting of possible relocations did not disappear when passing a move
- The highlightingof possible relocations now does not disappear if it is impossible to make a relocation
- Fixed a bug when observers were informed that they had lost
- The round timer now stops completely when the game ends
- Using TAB key is now not available in the lobby
- Fixed a bug when a dead player used a different color
- Fixed a bug where a neutral chip was blocking blocks
- Player order is now displayed correctly
Major bug fixes
- Fixed the principle of checking the safety of movement. Now the game calculates all possible development scenarios when moving
- Now you can press unready if the game start timer has already started
- Fixed a bug when it was impossible to control a chip in coordinates (0;0)
- Fixed a bug when the number of players needed for the start did not depend on the map
Gameplay changes
- A new type of chips: neutral chips
These are white chips that anyone can take control of
Neutral chips do not shoot, cannot be destroyed by a shot and do not reinforce blocks
Chips can still be crushed by blocks. To capture a chip you need to be turned towards it and have 2 move points, then relocate to the place of the chip. The captured chip will turn to the side from which it was captured
- A new type of chips: neutrally colored chips
These are colored chips with a round outline around them.
It shoots and can be destroyed by a shot
It cannot be controlled.
It can be captured by a live chip of the same color
- A new type of chips: paralyzed chips.
These chips shoot and can be destroyed, it cannot be taken over and they cannot be controlled.
- A new type of player chips: Shield MK-I
This chip can't shoot, but it does block other players' shots with its front end
- A new type of player chips: Shield MK-II
This chip can't shoot, and also blocks any shots from all sides except the backside
- Chip selection
Now you can choose which chips you want to play with. Each chip costs a certain number of points
- Now you can crush the chips against the player's core cell
- Now you can crush blocks against the player's core cell
- When a player surrenders or leaves the game his core cell is not destroyed
Instead, all of his chips become paralyzed - Capturing a core cell now makes all of a player's tokens neutral for everyone
- Added new maps to vary gameplay
Developer tip: try a map for 4 people and put a 10-second timer on your turn
- Now if players are left without a possibility to destroy each other's cores, a draw is declared.
- Each player may now pause the game 1 time per round. Anyone can continue the game
New features
Async Loading Screen
Added plugin for asynchronous loading of levels. Now you will be greeted by a nice loading screen with different hints when you go from the menu to the server.
List of active players
The list of players who are playing in the given game is now displayed on the left. In addition, the number of chips of each player and the order of moves, as well as the current player's move is displayed.
Color selection
Players can now choose which color to play for regardless of the number of players.
This means that if 2 players want to play as blue and brown, nothing will stop them.
Optional Gameplay
- Duel
The parameter responsible for whether chips that are on the same vertical/horizontal line will kill each other. When turned off, the chip that has entered the occupied vertical/horizontal will be destroyed. - Double relocation
The parameter responsible for the ability to relocate by 2 cells in 1 move. - Round Timer
The parameter responsible for the game timer for each player turn. If a player does not manage to pass the turn during the timer, his random chip will turn into neutral-colored for him. - Random walls
The parameter is responsible for whether random walls will be generated on the map - Player walls
The parameter is responsible for whether or not players will have their walls near the starting location - Immovable wall
The parameter is responsible for whether there will be immovable walls on the map.
Map Editor
A map editor has been included. Now you can create maps, run them on your server and share them with friends.
Because of this, the map size is now always 19x19 and the maximum number of chips is now 5.
Non-Gameplay Changes
- "FPS Limit" is moved to the settings and removed from Client.ini
- VSync
- Chat is now saved between games
- You can now turn off the highlighting of possible relocations/rotations
- Now your screen will shake if you lose a chip
- Screen shake is optional and is placed in the settings
- The map seed is placed in the round settings
- You can now see the current round rules right in the game
- There is now a board refresh button that synchronizes with the server board
- Now you can change your nickname right in the session search
- By selecting a chip you can see exactly where on the map it will be located
- Now in the lobby you can see what the map you'll be playing on looks like
Misc
- Optimization of video card load was performed, on some devices the performance increased by 2 times
- The unmovable block has become darker
- The edge walls have changed and become darker and more monotonous
- The fonts in the game have changed.
- The duration of the cell pinging effect has increased and the cooldown has decreased
- ALT now also shows a chip capture
- The timer now has an end sound and a last 10 seconds sound
- Now every 15s the client checks if its board matches the server board
